- some sheets of newspaper...one sheet per person.
- a room that is big enough for your kids to dance around.
- music that you can stop and start easily.
- small treats and a prize.
Space the sheets of paper randomly out on the floor to create your islands.
Have the music and prizes ready.
After a short time, stop the music. The kids must each find an island to jump onto.
One person per island!
Now start the music again and whilst the kids dance, remove one island.
Stop the music and let the kids find an island again: the person left with no island steps out of the game. You can give them a small treat like a sweet.
Repeat this until you have a winner at the end: the last child still playing.
Handout a nice prize!
