Get a piece of paper each and put your own name at the bottom. Now pass it to the person on your left. They must think of a positive statement about you and write it at the top. For example
- I like the amazing ideas you come up with
- You are a great listener and I find you very supportive
Now fold over what you have written so it is hidden, and pass the paper left. You should still be able to see the person's name at the bottom of the paper. Everyone writes another comment about the named person and repeats this process until the papers have gone full circle back to their owners.
When you finally get your piece of paper back and you can unfold and read all the positive feedback you are receiving. You decide if you want to share it.
It's great to take home a warm message like this and a good way to end the event.
As a variation, you can include both positive and negative feedback, but this needs handling with more care. Best done during the day so you can plan how to act on the feedback and improvement areas.
